Developing Guidelines for Local Loop Unbundling

As with other aspects of interconnection, Local Loop Unbundling is subject to stringent regulatory controls which are normally promulgated by the regulator in the shape of formal LLU Guidelines. These summarise the regulator’s interpretation of applicable law and define the procedures and standards that operators are expected to uphold in the supply of LLU products. Ensuring the appropriate content of such documents is especially important where they prescribe the development and management of new wholesale products and services with their associated new processes and work practices.

Summary of LLU entitlements and obligations;
