Spectrum Management Systems
Spectrum Management System Specification
So all national regulatory authorities are the same? And doesn't the ITU mandate how spectrum management should be done? The answer is an emphatic ‘no’! Each NRA is culturally unique. It has unique objectives and unique development aims. It has unique staff and unique commissioners. One size does not fit all and we don‘t have a world family of 192 clones. Spectrum management systems need to be specified before they can be procured.
InterConnect has specified many spectrum management systems. Whilst the ITU does give good guidance, InterConnect starts with the premise that requirements are special and need to be elicited and not just presumed. InterConnect consultants have developed comprehensive specifications covering traditional
spectrum management, allotment and plan management, e-licencing, e-payments, information security, monitoring system interface, CRM system and accounting system. Past projects have included bid adjudication, vendor management, installation management, acceptance testing and acceptance.
InterConnect believes that a consulting team with balanced skills is essential. Today’s systems span software engineering, business processes as well as radiocommunications. So many software procurement projects fail. With InterConnect's unique blend of software and radio consulting skills, your spectrum management system acquisition project has less chance of ending in a protracted stalemate.
