Developing National Broadband Strategy, London, 14th September 2010
Please note the revised September date for this Seminar
Achieving universal broadband access is a major challenge to the industry and to government. There is much thinking to be done and many principles to be established. While the market may supply broadband access in urban and suburban areas, there is concern that rural and remote areas will not be covered unless the external values of broadband access are recognised and roll-out is somehow subsidised. We will discuss these issues and emerging solutions.
Further, we will discuss the role of radio systems to assist with cost-effective broadband coverage.
Who Should Attend?
This seminar is ideal for anyone operating or regulating broadband access networks (3G/4G, WiMAX, etc). This seminar will be of particular interest to financiers, economists, engineers, regulators and lawyers associated with wireless networks, whether at proposal, start-up, expansion or under normal operations.

The programme for the event is outlined below and presenters will be available after the event to answer any questions in more detail or discuss specific issues that attendees might have.
