InterConnect's New Website
Chepstow, 4th February 2008

InterConnect Communications is pleased to announce its updated and revised website which came online on the 4th February 2008. As well as the obvious visual changes, we believe the new structure will make it easier for customers to find the information they are looking for on the site.

We will be making some ongoing tweaks to pages for a short period while we review the ongoing effectives of the site and correct any glitches that might arise. If you have any comments on the site, or suggestions for resources you would like us to introduce to the site, we would be happy to hear from you. InterConnect supports Orange UK’s response to Ofcom proposals for award of available spectrum in the 2GHz bands
Chepstow, 2 May 2007

In December 2006 UK communications regulator Ofcom published a consultation document setting out proposals for the award of some 215MHz of available spectrum in the 2GHz bands through an auction based on Spectrum Usage Rights (SUR), giving bidders the flexibility to decide how the spectrum is used. In its response to the consultation, mobile telephony provider Orange UK identified a number of key concerns with regard to the proposals as they apply to the 2.6GHz frequency band, and to support its position commissioned an independent study from communications regulatory and radio spectrum specialists InterConnect Communications Ltd. Whilst supporting the guiding principles behind the Ofcom proposals, InterConnect’s report highlights a number of key concerns which it is felt are likely to introduce uncertainty into the viability of high quality operations in the spectrum and into the value of the spectrum itself. InterConnect Communications assists in a study on radio interference regulatory models in the European Community
Chepstow, 16 April 2007

InterConnect Communications is pleased to announce that, working within the Eurostrategies partnership and in association with LS Telcom AG, it has commenced work on a study on radio interference regulatory models in the European Community. The contract, let by the European Commission, Directorate-General Information Society and Media, Directorate B, has a value of EUR 349,874. Download News Release
